Luxury Boarding Suites
We offer luxury suites for your companions to enjoy during their stay. It is important to us for your companion to have a caring and relaxing environment. We offer relaxing spa music in our large canine suites and cat condos, while we have a T.V. in the small canine boarding. Does your pet need a little extra pampering while they are on vacation? We offer specialty cookies and biscuits for your pet to enjoy during their stay. If they need something to play with that gives rewards, we have special toys with treats inside that are sure to entertain your precious pup all day. Let us pamper you pet!
Webcam and Playtime / Cuddle time
Do you enjoy checking in on your furry companion? We offer suites with webcams so that you can view your companion throughout the duration of their stay. We understand that it can be comforting to check on your pet and see their happy faces and wagging tails. Our staff enjoys spending one on one time with our valued clients. We have a covered playground for your adult canines to enjoy games and a chance to stretch their legs. Our staff also enjoys cuddling with your precious puppies to make them feel right at home with tummy rubs and T.V. time in the small canine wing. Of course, we did not forget our fabulous felines, who can enjoy back scratches and cat games in the cat wing. Relax and let us pamper your pet! We hope you take advantage of this feature.
Doggie and Cat Daycare
Work all day and need someone to play with you precious pet? We have a daycare option for both canines and felines. We enjoy getting to pamper your precious pooch or fabulous feline during those long busy days. We want to make sure we have a room ready for your pet to enjoy during the day, which is why we off daycare by reservation only.
Check In and Check Out
Boarding pricing is per day and begins the day of Check In
Check Out time is 2:00 p.m.
* All pets that check out after 2 pm. will be charged boarding for that day.
To ensure the safest environment for all guests and patients staying at our facility we have set the following policies and guidelines:
· PLEASE ALLOW 15 MINUTES TO CHECK IN YOUR PET.
· ALL FEES ARE DUE UPON RELEASE OF YOUR PET.
Policies and Guidelines
Please note that upon admission, all guests must be free of ticks, fleas, and intestinal parasites or we will treat accordingly at the owner’s expense. We must make every effort to prevent a flea/tick infestation in our hospital.
All pets must be up to date on all Annual Vaccinations
Canines ~ Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Leptospira, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus), and Bordetella.
Felines ~ Rabies, FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia a.k.a the “feline distemper” vaccine) and Feline Leukemia.
All guests must have had a negative fecal test done within 6 months (for dogs) or 12 months (for cats) of being boarded.
For the safety of all pets and visitors, all pets are required to be on a leash and under control, or in a carrier in our hospital. Staff personal will take pets back into the boarding facility from the lobby.
For the safety of all pets and visitors, all pets and visitors must be escorted by a staff member to enter the back of the boarding facility. Please keep in mind other client's pets may be in the process of being let out. It is important that all pets are in their kennels during the time another pet is being lead back into the boarding facility.
Pick up and Drop off times are from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – Noon on Saturday and 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday by request only. All visitors must enter through the front door and wait in the front lobby for pick up and drop off.
Boarding pickup is not available on the day of the Holiday or Holiday Weekends.
Holidays: New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
For Holidays and Long term stays we require a day deposit per pet that is refundable if canceled before 72 hours prior to boarding check-in. The deposit will be credited towards your boarding stay.
The first boarding charge will be incurred on the day your pet checks in. "Check out" time is 2:00 pm. All pets that are picked up after 2:00 pm will be charged boarding for that day.
If a health problem is present upon admittance, or if a problem should arise during boarding, a doctor will do a complete physical exam and any fees will be additional.
It is important that you leave a telephone number where you can be reached while your pet is boarding with us. If this is not possible, please leave the number of a trusted friend or relative that we can contact should a problem arise.
If your pet requires a special diet, please bring it from home. We will be happy to feed it to your pet. Otherwise, we feed Hill’s Science Diet Prescription I/D.
Medications: All prescription medications for your pet must be in the original prescription bottle. Any over-the- counter medications must also be in the original container. Loose medications and medications in pill containers will not be accepted. Medications that you bring from home for your pet will be given as prescribed.
Understand you are responsible for all expenses incurred on your pet’s behalf which includes but not limited to: injuries, damages to facility or sickness. North Bentwood Veterinary Hospital and Boarding is not responsible for any losses or damages to any toys or belongings that were left, as well as any injuries or illnesses incurred during your pets stay.
